NOMINAL PC — Home

Computer workshop — Warsaw

System status — Nominal

All systems nominal.

Custom PCs, precise tuning and meticulous service — for people and teams who need their machines to simply work, quietly, for years.

§ 01 / 08Positioning

Endgame, not upgrade cycles.

We build and maintain computers the way instruments are made: to a specification, within tolerance and for the long run. Every decision is measured against three things.

  1. 01

    Comfort

Quiet under load, cool to the touch, pleasant to sit in front of for ten hours.

  2. 02

    Capability

Specified for the work you actually do — not for a benchmark chart.

  3. 03

    Productivity

Stable, predictable and set up so the machine never becomes the task.

§ 03 / 08Process

Measured at every step.

The same six steps for a new build, a laptop that runs hot or a full studio desk.

How we work
  1. 01Brief

    We listen first.

What you do, what bothers you, what you expect. We ask about workload, software, noise, space, budget and timing — and about what already works.

  2. 02Specification

    We propose a plan.

A configuration or a service plan with the reasoning behind it, agreed with you before any work starts.

  3. 03Execution

    We do the work.

On the bench, in order, with the right tools. Nothing improvised, nothing rushed, every change noted.

  4. 04Validation

    We verify against the spec.

Stability, temperatures and noise are checked under realistic load. If it is not nominal, it is not finished.

  5. 05Handover

    We hand it over, explained.

You receive the machine with a summary of what was done and the settings that matter.

  6. 06Care

    We stay available.

Results and long-term cooperation matter to us. Maintenance, adjustments and questions after handover are part of the relationship.

§ 04 / 08Selected builds

From the bench.

A record of machines specified, built and validated in the workshop.

All builds

§ 05 / 08Operating range

Focus is part of the spec.

We are deliberately narrow. Staying inside this range is how we stay excellent at everything in it.

In tolerance

  • Current-generation desktops and laptops
  • Workstations for creative and technical work
  • Gaming and enthusiast machines
  • Windows, Linux and macOS environments
  • Keyboards, audio and the desk around them
  • Individuals and businesses

Out of tolerance

  • Outdated devices and computers
  • Servers and server rooms
  • Mining farms and mining rigs

Not sure where your hardware falls? Ask — you will get a straight answer.

§ 06 / 08For business

Workstations for teams, cared for long-term.

Machines specified for the work your people do, set up consistently and kept in shape over time — with one point of contact.

01
Workstation specification by role
02
Consistent setup across machines
03
Scheduled cleaning and thermal care
04
Ergonomic desks in the office and at home

§ 07 / 08Questions

Asked often.

All questions
What do you not work on?
Outdated devices and computers, servers and server rooms, and mining farms or mining rigs. Staying inside a narrow range lets us do excellent work within it.
What should I tell you before a custom build?
What you will use it for and which software you run, your budget, how quiet it needs to be, where it will stand, and whether you need peripherals or a desk setup as well.
Is undervolting or overclocking safe?
Done carefully, within the platform’s limits and validated for stability — yes. We prioritise stability and longevity over peak numbers and explain any trade-off before changing anything.
Do you support Mac computers?
Yes. We help with setup, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of current macOS devices.

§ 08 / 08Request

Tell us what nominal means for you.

Describe the machine, the problem or the desk. We will reply with questions or a plan.
